Trail Users Advised to Stay out of Construction Zones

There are some construction projects on the trails near lakes in Anchorage, Alaska. The city is experiencing problem with walkers and cyclists ignoring signs and entering closed areas, which not only causes safety problem but also prolongs projects. Using extra flaggers, positioning a police car in the construction zones, and giving out citations and fines are a few methods the city they have tried to mitigate the problem.
