Wentz Forecasts Work-Zone Device Certification Changes

ATSSA Executive Director, Mr. Richard Wentz, reported that in the future, the FHWA will probably no longer issue letters of acceptance in regard to work zone devices that meet NCHRP 350 criteria. We will need to rely on crash testing facilities who will issue letters of compliance to the manufacturers of the devices.
