VDOT employees will hand out safety information kits during “Safety Breaks” at 39 rest areas across Virginia from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 4 to kick off Work Zone Awareness Week. In addition, VDOT will join the nation on Tuesday, April 8, in recognizing the fourth National Work Zone Awareness Week, which was inspired by VDOT’s annual campaign
