Work Zone Crashes on Superstition Freeway (US 60) Drop 60 Percent Since Double Fine Signs Put to Use

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) says work zone crashes along US 60 have dropped 60 percent since August when the new “double fine” law for speeding in work zones went into effect on the state highway system. Under the new law, the fines for speeding in work zones are doubled only when workers are present.
