Traffic deaths in Wisconsin road construction zones last year hit the highest point in at least 10 years. The increase is part of a state and national trend. To prevent more crashes, the Transportation Department, the Federal Highway Administration and the American Trucking Association are passing along safety tips in conjunction with National Work Zone Safety Awareness Week.
