Work Zone Rule Information Available

The Federal Highway Administration has posted a brochure and four fact sheets related to the recently updated work zone safety and mobility rule (23 CFR 630 Subpart J).
Developed by the FHWA Work Zone Team to raise awareness about the rule, the brochure provides an overview of the rule and includes a flow diagram illustrating how the rule can be applied to the typical DOT program delivery process for road projects. The fact sheets provide an overview of the rule, as well as information on three key aspects of the rule – Work Zone Impacts Assessment, Transportation Management Plans (TMPs) for Work Zones, and Public Information and Outreach Strategies for Work Zones.
