Wreck Survivor Saw Chaos, Horror

Abstract:

From the Wednesday, March 11, 1998 issue (Pages B1, B4) of The Philadelphia Inquirer. On Monday, March 9, one man was killed and several others were injured when a tractor-trailer hit them on the Pennsylvania Turnpike where they were responding to an earlier accident. Richard Littleton gives an eyewitness account of the wreck. He was the first person on the scene of the initial accident where a car lost control and landed in a ditch. Merle Horst, the driver of the tractor-trailer, is also interviewed.
