WSDOT Turns Orange for Work Zone Memorial Today

Abstract:

The Washington State Department of Transportation has turned their web site orange this week in abservance of 2009 Work Zone Memorial to honor workers killed in roadway work zones. The agency’s “Give ’em a Brake” Campaign boasts the use of Automated Traffic Safety Camera to prevent drivers from speeding in work zones. Tips for driving safely in a work zone are also provided.
