FDOT TTC Intermediate Certification

The FDOT Temporary Traffic Control Intermediate Training is required for personnel with duties that include any of the following activities:

  • Personnel responsible for supervising the installation, removal and field maintenance of TTC devices, excluding temporary barriers, end treatments, and crash cushions
  • Inspection of the placement or operational function of temporary traffic control devices, excluding temporary barriers, end treatments, and crash cushions

The Training includes:

  • Up to 16 hours of instruction and exam time over 2 days 8am-5pm
  • TTC Intermediate Certification (A passing score of 70% or more is required)
  • TTC Intermediate Certificate (full size and wallet card)
  • Your TTC Intermediate Certificate is good for four years (You must take a refresher before your certificate expiration date to extend certificate or you will need to retake the TTC Intermediate training again.)
  • TTC Intermediate Online Training (You attend virtually from home or office)
  • In-class live workshopping to help demonstrate materials covered
