Flagging Basics for a Two Lane Roadway

Spring brings with it smaller projects for local public agencies, requiring temporary traffic control (TTC) while work is being performed. This webinar covers the basics from the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (OMUTCD) of how to setup and flag for a temporary traffic control situation on a two-lane roadway (one-lane of traffic in each direction).

The presenter discussed how roadway geometrics and work zone length must be considered when planning your flagging operation. The presentation distinguished between setting up for a planned temporary traffic control situation and an emergency situation.
