Guidance on Managing Speeds in Work Zones

This webinar was held on November 30, 2011

Speed enforcement

The determination of work zone speed limits is typically based on state laws, agency policies and engineering judgment. Many factors impact the decision to reduce the regulatory speed limit in a work zone, implement speed limit management strategies and utilize speed reduction strategies. The information presented in this webinar should aid agencies and highway contractors in understanding these factors and the interaction among them.
