Pothole Repairs

When we think of work zones, we often picture major interstate closures or long-term construction projects. But not all work zones last for days or weeks. Some are short duration work zones—quick operations that may only last a few minutes or hours. These short-term zones are common for maintenance tasks like filling potholes, clearing debris, or inspecting signs and guardrails. They pop up suddenly and move frequently, which makes them especially risky for crews. In this video, Dakota, a Hailey/Stanley foreman, explains the pothole filling process—and why your attention on the road matters, even when the work seems small or quick.
