Traffic Control for Supervisors

Course is for construction supervisors involved in street and highway work who are expected to provide a safe work zone for their employees, their company, and the traveling public. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of the entire process of planning, designing, installing, maintaining, and monitoring work zone traffic control. It will include temporary work zones, planning work zones, traffic patterns, and pedestrian patterns. Course meets the ND Department of Transportation specifications, as well as the Federal Highway Administration, and provides students with an opportunity to understand the industry standards for maintaining traffic through a work zone. Students will receive the most current edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and walk away with a working knowledge of how to utilize the book.
