“Be Work Zone Alert”

Highway construction and maintenance is one of the most dangerous jobs in California. The highway workers are relied upon to do more than just fix our roadways, they are counted on to come home each day. The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and its partners – the California Highway Patrol, California Office of Highway Safety, California Department of Motor Vehicles, and Impact Teen Drivers launched a new work zone safety campaign, “Be Work Zone Alert,” featuring Caltrans employees and their children. The multimedia campaign includes a website, outdoor advertising, public service announcements, and social media posts.
