Pace vehicles or speed control vehicles to limit driver speeds through construction work zones

The Maine Turnpike Authority will be using 2 Pace Vehicles, side-by-side at a 50 mph construction zone speed. Vehicles provided and driven by contractor, equipped with top-mounted yellow beacons and a black-on-orange 3′ x 5′ rear-mounted sign with lettering “PACE VEHICLE.”
