Top-mounted object markers for delineation of portable concrete barrier wall on highway projects or alternative devices

Standard 701321-02 shows Illinois’ basic object marker barrier wall attachment. Most designers are now opting for the Detail A option using barrier wall reflectors. This marker attachment design has not yet been crash tested. At several locations where daytime delineation was determined critical, special barrier wall tapes or SaddlemarkerTM reflectors have been used.
