6 Killed, 1 Hurt in Chain-Reaction Crash in Work Zone on Northern NY Road

Abstract:

Six people were killed in an accident on a northern New York road Thursday when a tractor-trailer rear-ended a vehicle moving slowly due to road repaving, causing a chain reaction of accidents involving a state Department of Transportation truck and an SUV. Authorities say there were plenty of signs warning motorists of crews working on the road.
