A Better Way to Control Traffic
Abstract:To improve safety, the Alabama Department of Transportation (DOT) wanted a device that would more quickly alert drivers to stop or slow down when traveling through work zones. The DOT decided to try the flashing stop/slow paddle, which had been developed under the Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP).
