ARTBA Submits Comments on Proposed Occupational Safety & Health Administration Noise Standards
Abstract:The American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) said the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) proposal to update its noise standard will require an approach that is uniquely tailored for the construction industry. The noise standard that OSHA enforces on “general industry”-which is much newer than the current construction noise standard-would be infeasible for transportation construction.
