Caltrans Memorial Honors 183 Fallen Highway Workers and Reminds Motorists to Slow for the Cone Zone and Move Over

Author/Presenter: McGowen, Tamie
Abstract:

Caltrans hosted its 24th Annual Workers Memorial at the State Capitol to honor 183 employees who have lost their lives on the job.   The Highway Workers Memorial is a somber reminder that highway workers put their lives in danger everyday.   Drivers are asked to slow down, stop texting and talking on the phone in work zones, and comply with the Move Over law.
