Caltrans Stress Driver Safety in Work Zones

In the wake of three Caltrans worker fatalities in the past three months, officials are calling motorists’ attention to be alert and cautious in work zones. They also emphasize that the California law requires motorists to slow down and if possible move over one lane when near a stopped emergency or maintenance vehicle.
