Kenneth of Shawnee, Oklahoma brought up the question regarding construction signs, cones, and barrels were left at various construction sites throughout the state after the work has been completed. David Meuser of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation addressed the issue by explaining the types of work that are left for the contractors to do after a construction project is completed and they are not visible to drivers. They require the presence of traffic control devices to provide continued safety for road workers.
