Abstract:This guidebook is the second phase of a two phase project focusing on designing sidewalks and trails for access. It was created to provide planners, designers, and engineers with a better understanding of how sidewalks and trails can be planned, designed, built, and maintained to provide a high level of useability for people with disabilities. Part 10.4 covers pedestrian safety and access around construction sites.
