Employee Safety & Health Manual

This manual has been prepared to provide information and guidance to personnel of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. Its purpose is to establish uniformity in the interpretation and administration of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to the operation of the Employee Safety and Health Branch and its relationship with other units of the Cabinet. It includes information on: Injury reporting, vehicle incident reporting, personal protective equipment, fire prevention, accident prevention, hazard communication, excavation, traffic control, first aid, fall protection, and various other safety information.
