First Work Zone Awards Honor Traffic Control Partners

Abstract:

Iowa’s industry partners included a work zone award in their annual awards ceremonies for the first time this year. The awards are project-oriented to recognize excellence in work zone design and execution. The awards were open to any traffic control contractor in Iowa. The 2019 Construction Work Zone Safety Awards recognized Iowa DOT construction projects for outstanding performance in the areas of work zone safety and traffic control.
