Local Business Owner Faces Impact of Hwy 231 Closure

A business owner says he has seen a decrease in business ever since Highway 231 shut down. There are barricades blocking off the road. The Alabama Department of Transportation says the barricades are up to keep drivers from getting close to the construction site. The Department is asking drivers to have patience and plan alternate routes while the roadwork is being done.
