Highway Worker Saves Motorist after Freeway Crash

Lansing resident John Jenks, who works out of MDOT’s Grand Ledge maintenance garage, was working on Interstate 96 near Lansing earlier this week. He was installing reflectors on a guard rail about 3:30 a.m., when a near-tragedy struck. The article goes on to describe how Jenks pulled a car accident victim from a burning vehicle.
