Jefferson Students Map out Roadway Safety
Abstract:Jefferson C-123 first-grader Lauren Cullin and her classmates participated in a poster contest, “Life Behind the Cones and Barrels – How Roadway Workers Keep America Moving,” hosted by the Missouri Department of Transportation. She got the first place at the state level and will now be judged at the national level. The contest invites students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade to depict the daily life of roadway workers in America.
