Key Findings from ISEA Road Construction Worker Safety Equipment Investigation

Abstract:

Presented in this document are the survey results from the session. This focus group had the following objectives in mind: 1) To understand which tactics/tools construction management would find most useful in improving awareness of safety equipment and to gain their recommendations on tactics to consider; 2) To better understand the barriers to awareness and use of PPE; and 3) To understand which ISEA messages will peak construction management’s interest in worker safety, and why or why not. The session was conducted during the World of Concrete 2001 Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 28th, 2001.
