Lawton Citizen Concerned by Construction Zone Speeders

In Lawton, OK, a year long construction project is taking place close to Eisenhower Elementary School where children walk home everyday. Citizens expressed concerns about children being at constant risk to injury from drivers who refuse to slow their speed and watch for young pedestrians crossing the street.  City officials say safety is important so they are taking all of the necessary precautions to ensure no one is injured passing through that area.
