Legislation for Grant Program Introduced to Train Roadway Workers, Make Roadway Work Zones Safer and More Accessible

Abstract:

Thanks to the efforts of U.S. Representative Brett Guthrie, H.R. 5819, the Roadway Safety Training and Access Act of 2010, was introduced. This bill authorizes funds for a grant program to provide comprehensive and uniform roadway safety training to roadway workers, as well as highlighting the need to make work zones compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
