LSP: DOTD Worker Killed in Attack on Interstate 10, Suspected Attacker Fatally Shot by WBR Deputies

A state department of transportation motorist assistance patrol unit employee was stabbed and killed during a bizarre incident on Interstate 10 in Port Allen. West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Deputies shot the suspect as the attack was ongoing. The investigation remains ongoing with further information to be released.
