MoDOT Will Use ‘Sound Cannons’ to Deter Work Zone Speeding

Abstract:

The Missouri Department of Transportation has been testing acoustic devices that can warn motorists to slow down in work zones. The devices will broadcast messages in a very high volume as a driver passes by.
