Montreal’s Construction Charter Aims to End Roadwork Chaos, but Critics Have Doubts

Abstract:

The Montreal administration attempted to end roadwork chaos that has frustrated motorists with endless detours by creating a “charter of work sites” that promises to ensure better mobility, safety, and coordination around construction projects. This is not the first attempt to better manage the construction chaos in Montreal. Two experts said they are not sure how effective the charter will be, but it is worth trying.
