New “Dynamic Merge System” Could Soon Reduce Traffic Through I-91 Construction

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will place Dynamic Merge System on Interstate 91 in Springfield within the next few weeks to help direct drivers through the construction zone.   The I-91 reconstruction project has caused significant traffic and will last for another year or so.  The new system is expected to reduce traffic near the construction zone.
