New Tennessee Legislation Aims to Protect Roadside Utility Workers

Effective on July 1, Tennessee’s “Move Over” law is expanded to require vehicles to move over or slow down when they see electric and other utility vehicles with flashing lights parked on the side. This attempt is to provide added protection to roadside workers in addition to cones, signs, hard hats, and flaggers.
