NJDOT Annual Statewide Pothole Repair Campaign Begins This Week: Moving Operations and Daytime Lane Closures Can Be Expected

Abstract:

The Winter weather this year has been extremely harsh on state highways, resulting in a large number of potholes that pose a risk for motorists. New Jersey Department of Transportation Commissioner Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti announced the annual statewide campaign to repair potholes across New Jersey begins on March 3. To speed up the potholes repairing process, the Department allows crews throughout the state to close travel lanes where necessary during daytime hours.
