NJDOT to Host Conference in Advance of National WorkZone Safety Awareness Week 2001

Abstract:

The New Jersey Department of Transportation will be hosting a conference to promote National Workzone Safety Awareness Week 2001 on Thursday, April 5. To highlight Workzone Safety Awareness Week 2001, which runs from April 9 -12, the NJDOT plans to make awards to various state organizations that practice good workzone safety on the roads. National Workzone Safety Week calls the public’s attention to efforts across the county to make construction zones on our roads safer for workers and easier for motorists and pedestrians to travel around.
