ODOT to Impose Stiffer Fines on Contractors After Long Traffic Delay due to Construction on I-480

The failure of contractors in meeting the contract requirements of having all lanes open by 6 am has caused construction-related morning delays for area commuters several times.  Ohio Department of Transportation put out a statement pledging to roll out stiffer fines to contractors who close lanes for longer than allowed.
