Pa. Lawmaker Wants no Phones Between Orange Cones

For the safety for highway workers, Rep. Peter Daley II of Pennsylvania plans to introduce legislation that would ban the use of cell phones and other handheld electronic devices in active construction zones. If passed, the legislation will be in effect by the 2012 construction season.
