Paying Tribute to PennDOT Workers Killed in Line of Duty
Abstract:The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Northeast Highway Safety Program hosted an event Tuesday urging work zone safety and honoring lives lost by featuring the PennDOT Workers’ Memorial on the Luzerne County Courthouse Lawn in Wilkes-Barre. The PennDOT Workers’ Memorial pays tribute to the 89 PennDOT workers who have been killed in the line of duty since 1970.
