Quebec Doubles Fines for Speeding in Highway Construction Zones

The Quebec Highway Code was recently amended to double the amount of fines for speeding in highway construction zones. The changes were made four months after two signal workers were struck and killed by cars in a highway construction site within two weeks of each other.
