Rockford Police Warn Drivers to Slow Down in Construction Zones

The Rockford Police Department used an undercover officer dressed as a construction worker and armed with a radar gun to catch motorists violating construction zone traffic laws. Those pulled over were given informational packets on construction zone safety and a warning instead of fines in hopes of educating the public first.
