Senate GOP Looks to Ease Federal Mandate on Reflective Road Signs
Author/Presenter: Kasperowicz, PeteAbstract:
Tennessee Republican Senators Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander introduced a bill, S. 1216, which would waive the requirement for all states to install more reflective road signs by 2018. Their bill is meant to allow all states to replace signs as they come of age to be replaced, for the replacement of all these signs is an extremely costly federally unfunded expense in tough times.
