SHA Announces Website to Aid Drivers
Author/Presenter: Skalski, LizAbstract:
With the rising rate of gas prices, the Maryland State Highway Administration hopes to ease commuters pains with an online tool to inform them of construction zones and possible delays. The new online tool, e-Road Ready 2011, allows drivers to see what road renovation projects are in their areas, their impact on traffic, and their expected start and completion dates. Officials say with this new tool drivers can have the information ahead of time and plan their routes accordingly.
