Slow Down in the Cone Zone: Roadside Worker Safety Awareness Campaign

The Work Zone Safety Alliance recently launched the “Cone Zone” campaign, a road safety initiative that aims at reducing worker fatalities by increasing awareness of their vulnerability in the cone zone. There have already been several accidents in the season that involve roadside workers. Officials want drivers to slow down, pay attention, and be respectful when driving near roadside workers.
