Special K: Fortified Work Zone Safety From FHWA

Abstract:

The new Federal Highway Administration work zone safety rules (Subpart K, 23 CFR 630) went into effect in December, 2008. This article summarizes the requirements under these new rules and indicates guidance and training materials will be developed under under a grant from the Federal Highway Administration to assist in compliance with Subpart K.
