Massachusetts Department of Transportation Standard Details and Drawings for the Development of Temporary Traffic Control Plans

These drawings are developed by MassHighway (MHD) for the purpose of standardizing the Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) used to control traffic during road and bridge construction on all MHD projects. They should meet the majority of typical work zone setups, but shall also be used as templates for more customized applications. Each of the standard drawings and details provided in this document shall conform to the latest edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
