Temporary Barrier Guidance Manual

Temporary barrier is effective in providing positive separation between traffic and work areas. It is primarily used for protecting vehicles from severe hazards (e.g. drop -offs, embankments, fixed objects), protecting workers from errant vehicles, and separating opposing directions of traffic in certain temporary traffic control applications.
