Temporary Traffic Control Manual

Abstract:

The “Temporary Traffic Control Manual” (TTCM) is comprised of reprints of the Introduction and Parts 1, 5 and 6 from the complete 2012 Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (OMUTCD). The TTCM has been published separately to allow for easier use by those working primarily with temporary traffic control in construction and maintenance work zones and incident management areas. OMUTCD Part 1, General Provisions, has been included in this separate publication because it provides general information for use in all areas of traffic control, including definitions of terms used. OMUTCD Part 5, Low-Volume Roads, has been included herein because it allows for some modification of the standards in OMUTCD Part 6, Temporary Traffic Control, when low-volume rural roads are involved.
